Our non-contact boxing circuit uses traditional bags and balls and punching drills proven to enhance your co-ordination and upper-body strength training.
A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, as this is a cardiovascular class.
Join our winning team of instructors who will help teach you how to 'hook, jab, rip, and cut' your way into shape. One punch and you'll be hooked. Gloves must be worn (supplied for first timers, along with insert gloves). Water and a towel is a must!

Safety

If you have any injuries, disabilities or are pregnant, YMCA Gisborne advises that you should consult your health professional prior to undertaking this class. Please also inform the class instructor.

For you safety it is important that you attend the warm-up and cool-down phase of all group fitness classes.

Classes are on a Monday and Wednesday evening at 5.15pm (Kaiti only)
