Automotive ​​​​​​​

Vocational Pathway in Manufacturing and Technology Level 2 (30 week programme)

To provide learners with the skills and knowledge to pathway into the Automotive industry. Learners are taught a set of skills via unit standards both theoretical and practical that enable them, after completion, to progress onto the New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering Level three (3), considering that many do not hold the required foundation level literacy and numeracy skills to enrol straight into the Level three programme.

New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering Level 3 (40 week programme)

The New Zealand Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 3) has been designed to provide the automotive industry with ideal apprentices, who have learned a sound knowledge of basic automotive servicing, repair skills and procedures and to provide students with a well thought out automotive programme, which prepares them for entry into an automotive apprenticeship, or related industry employment. Learners will develop a flexible approach to learning through a range of project-based skills and activities. Throughout the programme, learners will learn to link theory with practical skills.

Build Construction and Allied Training Skills

New Zealand Certificate in Building, Construction and Allied Trade Skills Level 1 & 2 (30 week programme)

The Pathway to Building, Construction and Allied Trade Skills (BCATs) has been designed to provide a progressive pathway for learners to integrate into a wide range of trade-related occupations. Learners will develop a flexible approach to learning through a range of project based skills and activities. Throughout the programme, learners will learn to link theory with practical skills.

Youth & Adult programme

Pre-Trades Course 

We provide literacy and / or numeracy training that is specific to your needs. Our programmes utilise trades foundation skills and relevant learning tasks that may cover the following: Carpentry, Joinery, Metal work, small motors, Painting and decorating, Health and Safety, Technology skills, Problem solving, Goal Setting.
